When I meet someone, and I hear about their problems, it always sounds like their problems are worse then mine. And, I have to agree, they usually are. But, these people are so absorbed in their own problems that they can’t see the bigger picture. Oh whatever.

On to something more interesting: TV shows.
I just started picking up on some of the teen-y tv shows airing and one thing always catches my attention. I’m their age now.

Damn its funny. I’m 15, they’re 15 but their life is nothing like what highschool is like for me. Case one: Awkward. (MTV) She’s supposed to be the innocent nerd-type loner, but she loses her virginity going into sophomore year. I’m going into junior year and I don’t think I’m as adult as she is.

Case two: The Nine Lives of Chloe King. She’s 16 (I’m turning 16 soon) and her mom is cool with her having dates with a university student. Wtf? HAHA. Like my mom would ever.

I guess it makes sense because I live in the bay area where the population is like 60% Asian, so we are more dependent and have scarier parents, but none of that shit happens at my school. We definitely do not talk about how the hottest guys in our class are good in the bedroom category. Never.

The cutest guy from Awkward. (Brett Davern) replies back to tweets. :) I think he’s the sweetest thing ever.
